Hierarchical-environment-assisted non-Markovian and its effect on thermodynamic properties

Abstract We consider a microscopic collision model, i.e., quantum system interacts with hierarchical environment consisting of an auxiliary and reservoir. show how the non-Markovian character is influenced by coupling strength system-auxiliary system-reservoir, coherence initial system-environment correlations. And we study non-Markovianity induced from perspective energy, further relationship between information backflow energy flux obtained. Then effect on thermodynamic properties. By studying entropy change especially that heat exchanges environment, reveal essence positive negative values during evolution due to contribution coherence. compared case Markovian dynamics, observe production decreases in some specific time intervals under dynamics strength. this different caused correlation, possibility whole dynamics.
